How to Download BPSSC PET Admit Card 2026
Candidates can download their admit card by following these steps:
- Visit the official BPSSC website.
- Candidates must download their admit card from the correct tab based on their advertisement number:
- Advertisement No. 05/2025 (Police Sub-Inspector) candidates: download from the "Bihar Police" tab.
- Advertisement No. 01/2026 and 02/2026 (Sachivalaya Sahayak / Adhinayak Lipik, including Home Guard candidates): download from the "Homeguard" tab.
- Find and click the PET admit card download link for your specific advertisement number.
- Enter the required login details (as per the website's requirement).
- Download the e-admit card and take a printout for the exam day.
If you are unable to download your admit card online, you can visit the BPSSC office on 15 September 2026 between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM to collect a duplicate e-admit card at your own cost. You will need to bring a photocopy of your application receipt and a valid photo ID.
Documents Required at the PET / Document Verification
All candidates must appear at the specified time with their admit card and a photocopy of the online application receipt. Additionally, bring the following original certificates along with one set of photocopies of each:
- Valid photo identity card (e.g., Voter ID, Driving Licence, Aadhaar Card).
- Educational qualification certificate: Intermediate (or equivalent) pass certificate for Advt 01/2026 & 02/2026 candidates; Graduate (or equivalent) pass certificate for Advt 05/2025 candidates.
- Date of birth certificate (original Matriculation certificate).
- Caste certificate issued by a competent authority for SC, ST, EBC, and BC category candidates. For married/unmarried women candidates, the caste certificate is valid only if issued on the basis of the father.
- Non-creamy layer certificate for BC and EBC category candidates. For married/unmarried women candidates, valid only if issued on the basis of the father.
- Bihar state permanent resident (domicile) certificate for all reserved category candidates.
- Bihar EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate, if applicable.
- Original certificate of being a grandson/granddaughter of a Bihar state freedom fighter, if applicable.
- Certificate of being a Bihar Government employee, if applicable (for regular government servants with a minimum of three years of service).
- Ex-servicemen candidates must bring their PPO (Pension Payment Order) and discharge book.
- Third gender (Kinnar/Kothi/Hijra/Transgender) candidates must submit a Bihar domicile certificate and a certificate issued by the competent authority confirming transgender status.
- Home Guard organisation members (for Advertisement No. 02/2026 candidates) must bring a Bihar Home Guard status certificate and a valid Home Guard identity card.
Important Instructions:
- It is mandatory for every candidate to appear in the PET on the specified date. Failure to appear will make the candidate ineligible, and no second opportunity will be given.
