The written exam result is not the final step in UP Home Guard recruitment. Candidates shortlisted in the district-wise merit list must clear both Document Verification and the Physical Standard Test to remain in contention. The final merit list will be prepared only after combining performance across the written exam, PET/PST, and document verification stages.
Candidates should keep both original documents and self-attested photocopies ready, as verification is generally done against originals.
Candidates who qualify in the written exam are screened for height, chest (for male candidates), and weight as per UPPRPB's prescribed physical standards. Separate standards apply for male and female candidates, and female candidates must also meet the applicable age criteria of below 40 years.
| Category | Distance | Time Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Male Candidates | 4.8 km | 28 minutes |
| Female Candidates | 2.4 km | 16 minutes |
Once candidates clear the DV/PST round, UPPRPB will prepare a final merit list based on combined performance across the written exam, PET/PST, and document verification. The written exam result alone does not guarantee selection; final appointment depends on successfully clearing all stages of the recruitment process.
