All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). This is a temporary position for a research project funded by the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR
• Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
  • Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
  • Selection through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, NISER etc.

Desirable Experience: Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, 3-D culture, scaffold and bioink synthesis, 3-D Bioprinting, molecular biology techniques, immunofluorescence, cancer biology, and drug-screening assays.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should not exceed 35 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be applicable as per government rules. Age relaxation may also be given to deserving candidates by the Competent Selection Committee.

Salary / Pay Scale

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 37,000/- per month plus 18% HRA (Rs. 6,660), totaling Rs. 43,660/- per month.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted for a written test or skill test followed by an interview, depending on the number of applications received. All shortlisted candidates must report for the written test and/or interview on the specified date and time.

How to Apply

• Self-attested photocopies of proof of date of birth (Class 10th certificate/ school leaving certificate), eligibility qualification, mark sheets, degrees, experience certificate, caste certificate, qualifying degree registration with a statutory council (if applicable), and other relevant testimonials.
• Original certificates for verification.

Important Instructions

• The appointment is purely on a temporary basis for an initial period of 10 months, extendable up to a total duration of 2 years based on performance and fund availability.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written examination/interview.
• Candidates already in government service must submit a 'No Objection Certificate' from their employer at the time of the interview.
• Mere possession of the prescribed qualification does not guarantee selection.
