Vacancy Details

A total of 15 vacancies are available for Faculty (Group-A) positions. The distribution of vacancies is as follows:

Educational Qualifications and Eligibility

To be eligible for these faculty positions, candidates must possess the following:

• A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. Candidates with qualifications from Part-II of the third Schedule must also fulfil conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act.
• A postgraduate qualification:
• For Associate Professor: MD in the concerned speciality or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• For Assistant Professor: MD/MS in the concerned speciality or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• For super-speciality posts, DM/M.Ch. or equivalent recognised qualification is required.
• Candidates holding DNB in broad specialties or super specialties must produce documentary evidence issued by the Competent Authority about DNB equivalence with MD/MS/DM/M.Ch. as per the NMC, New Delhi notification dated 14.02.2022.

Experience Requirement:

• Three years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognised Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DM/M.Ch. or equivalent).

All eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications and experience, must be fulfilled on or before the closing date of application submission, i.e., November 7, 2026.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The maximum age limit for all candidates is 50 years as of the closing date for application submission (November 7, 2026).

Age relaxation will be granted to eligible categories as follows:

• SC/ST candidates: 05 years
• OBC candidates: 03 years
• PwBD candidates: 05 years
• Government Servants (regular employees of Central Government): 05 years (with a certificate from employer)
• Ex-Servicemen: 05 years

The upper age limit, even after availing age relaxation, shall not exceed 55 years on the cut-off date.

Important Note: No age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies or considered against UR posts on merit.

Application Fee

The application fee must be paid through a Demand Draft. The fee structure is as follows:

• UR/OBC/EWS Candidates: Rs. 2,400/- (Rupees Two Thousand Four Hundred only)
• SC/ST Candidates: Exempted. The fee will be refunded if they appear for the interview.
• PwBD Candidates: Exempted.

Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application and pay the fee separately for each post.

Salary and Pay Scale

The selected candidates will be paid as per the following pay scales:

• Associate Professor: Level-13A1+ (as per 7th CPC)
• Assistant Professor: Level-12 (as per 7th CPC)

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in an interview. However, AIIMS Rewari reserves the right to conduct a written test or screening based on objective criteria to shortlist candidates for the interview. The decision of the Competent Authority regarding shortlisting and final selection will be binding on all candidates.
