Aligarh Muslim University has announced a limited number of vacancies for the Guest Teacher position.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Guest Teacher (Mathematics) post, candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:

Option A:

• A Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related subject from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
• Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or SLET/SET, or possess a Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016.
• Candidates registered for Ph.D. before July 11, 2009, may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET if they meet specific conditions related to thesis evaluation, viva voce, and publications.

Option B:

• A Ph.D. degree from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 in the World University Rankings (QS, THE, or ARWU) at any time.

Note on Relaxation: A 5% relaxation in marks is allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently-Abled categories for eligibility and assessing Good Academic Record.

Age Limit

The age limit for the recruitment will be reckoned as on the last date of submission of the application form. Specific age limits are not mentioned in the official notification.

A non-refundable processing fee is required for each application.

Salary / Pay Scale
