• Headmaster/Headmistress: Graduate with minimum 50% marks, B.Ed/M.Ed/B.El.Ed/two years Diploma in elementary education. Minimum 08 years of teaching experience with atleast 05 years as PRT in a CBSE recognized school. Qualified in CTET/State TET and OST.
• Special Educator (PRT): Graduate with B.Ed (Special Education) or equivalent qualifications approved by RCI. RCI Registration is mandatory.
• PRT (Computer Science): BCA or Graduation in Computer Science or BE/B Tech (Computer Science/IT) or Graduate in any subject and A level course from DOEACC. B El. Ed/ 02 years D El Ed.
• PRT (All Subjects): Graduate with at least 50% marks in aggregate. B.El.Ed./02-year D.El.Ed.
• PRT (Physical Education Trainer/Karate Instructor): Bachelor's degree with Physical Education as an elective subject with 50% marks, or other specified qualifications related to physical education and sports.
• TGT (Bengali & Nepali): Four years Integrated Degree Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks OR Post-Graduation with 50% marks and three year Integrated B.Ed./M.Ed. OR Bachelor Degree with 50% marks in the concerned subject and B.Ed. from a NCTE recognized institution.

• For Vice Principal: Minimum 35 years and maximum 45 years. Upper age limit for Regular employees of Army Public Schools and Ex-servicemen is 55 years.
• For Headmaster/Headmistress: Maximum 55 years and 57 years for ESM/Teachers from the same school.
• For other posts (Special Educator, PRT, TGT): Age should not exceed 40 years for candidates without teaching/work experience.
