Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following mandatory eligibility conditions:
- Permanent Residence: Must be a citizen of India and an inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh holding a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).
- Indigenous Status: Must be an original inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh and hold an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) Certificate as per the list of Tribes notified under the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950.
- Language Proficiency: Must be able to speak an Indigenous Tribal Language of Arunachal Pradesh and possess working knowledge of the local indigenous tribes, as notified by the Government.
Educational Qualification
Post-wise educational qualifications are as follows:
- Agriculture Development Officer (Group-A): Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from a recognized university.
- Horticulture Development Officer (Group-A): Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from a recognized university.
- Veterinary Officer (Group-A): Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. Registration in the Arunachal Pradesh State Veterinary Council is mandatory at the time of application or by document verification.
- Assistant Director – Sericulture (Group-A): Bachelor's degree in Science with a Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture from a recognized university/institute.
- Dairy Development Officer (Group-B): Bachelor of Technology in Dairy Technology or equivalent (B.Sc. in Dairying/Dairy Technology; B.Sc./B.Tech in Food Technology, 4-year degree; B.Sc. Microbial & Food Technology, 4-year degree; B.Tech Bio-Technology).
Candidates appearing for their final semester examination are also eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of passing the qualifying exam by the date of the interview.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 21 and 35 years of age as on 30th September 2026.
