BCKV Recruitment for Field/Lab Assistant Positions

Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV) has released a notification for the recruitment of Field/Lab Assistants. These positions are temporary and will be engaged in the project "National Mission on High Yielding Seeds (Lentil)". The recruitment is being conducted by the Directorate of Research at BCKV, Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements to be eligible for the Field/Lab Assistant positions:

• Educational Qualification (E.Q.): Bachelor's degree, preferably a Graduate in Science.
• Desirable Qualification (D.Q.): Diploma Certificate in computer-based interview courses. Experience in maintaining trials of plant breeding experiments, crossing, seed packet preparation for sowing, field activities, data recording, and maintenance of seed stores is also desirable.

Age Limit

The age limit for candidates applying for the Field/Lab Assistant posts is between 21 and 35 years.

Salary / Remuneration

Selected candidates will be paid a fixed remuneration of Rs. 20,000/- per month.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in a personal interview. The interview will be conducted by a Selection Committee. The date, time, and venue for the interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates later.
