Eligibility

Criteria Requirement
Educational Qualification – Technician (Bench Chemist) D.Pharma or B.Pharma from a recognized university. Six (6) months of work experience in drug testing and analysis is mandatory.
Educational Qualification – Assistant Bacteriologist M.D. in Microbiology, or M.Sc. in Microbiology, or M.Pharma from a recognized university.

Age Relaxation:

  • Candidates working on contract in non-private laboratories in Bihar: Age relaxation equal to the duration of their contractual engagement, up to a maximum limit, calculated as on the 01.08.2026 cut-off.

Only one type of age relaxation is admissible to any candidate.

Minimum qualifying marks for CBT: General category – 40%, BC – 36.5%, EBC – 34%, SC/ST/Women/PwD – 32%. Candidates residing outside Bihar must secure the General category minimum of 40%. Work experience marks are added only after successful document verification and qualifying the written exam.
