Canara Bank Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Announced

Canara Bank has released a notification for the engagement of Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the Financial Year 2026-27. This recruitment drive aims to fill 3500 training seats across various states and Union Territories.

Vacancy Details

A total of 3500 training seats are available for Graduate Apprentices. These seats are provisional and may change based on the bank's requirements. Candidates can apply for training seats in only one state.

Eligibility Criteria

All eligibility conditions, including age and qualification, are calculated as of 01.09.2026.

Candidates must hold a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

Candidates must have passed their Graduation not earlier than 01.01.2023 and not later than 01.09.2026 (both dates inclusive).

The minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years as on 01.09.2026.

Application Fee

Stipend / Salary

Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 16,650 per month. This amount includes any subsidy provided by the Government of India.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a state-wise merit list. This merit list will be prepared using the marks obtained in 12th Standard (HSC/ 10+2) or Diploma. The selection process will be followed by document verification.

A test of local language may be conducted for candidates who do not have proof of studying the opted local language in their 10th or 12th standard mark sheet or certificate. Candidates must qualify in this test to be engaged as apprentices.

Engagement is also subject to the candidate being declared medically fit as per the bank's requirements.

How to Apply

Candidates interested in applying for the Canara Bank Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026 must first register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal with a 100% complete profile. After successful registration on the NATS portal, candidates can apply online through the Canara Bank website.

The online application window will be open from 01.10.2026 to 17.10.2026.
