Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Special Public Prosecutor role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Must hold an LLB degree.
• Bar Council Enrollment: Must have an Enrollment Certificate as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of standing as an Advocate.
  • Experience in handling criminal matters in Sessions Courts.
  • Mandatory experience in conducting trials of cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
• Willingness: Must provide unconditional willingness/consent to work on the general terms and conditions approved by the Government of India.
• Stationed at Location: Eligible candidates will be required to be stationed at Coimbatore, where the concerned Court is situated. No travelling allowance or reimbursement of travel expenses will be provided for attending the Court.
