Documents Required
When applying online, and especially during the document verification stage, you will need to have several documents ready. Preparing these in advance will ensure a smooth application process.
- Recent Passport-sized Photograph: A clear, recent photograph with a light background. Ensure it meets the specified dimensions and file size for online upload.
- Signature: Your scanned signature, usually on white paper with black ink, meeting the specified dimensions and file size.
- Identity Proof: A valid government-issued photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License.
- Educational Qualification Certificates:
- Mark sheets and Certificates for all qualifying examinations (e.g., 10th, 12th, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, MCA).
- Degree/Provisional Certificate for your essential qualification, confirming it was obtained on or before the cut-off date (17 August 2026).
- GATE Scorecard: Your valid GATE scorecard from 2024, 2025, or 2026, corresponding to the discipline you are applying for.
- Category Certificate (if applicable):
- SC/ST Certificate issued by a competent authority.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate issued by a competent authority, ensuring it is in the prescribed format and issued within the validity period.
- EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Certificate issued by a competent authority.
- PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) Certificate issued by a competent medical authority.
- Service Certificate (if applicable): For candidates claiming age relaxation as government employees, a certificate from your current employer indicating your service details.
- Other Certificates: Any other document specifically mentioned in the detailed official notification that might be relevant to your eligibility or claims.
Ensure all scanned documents are clear, legible, and adhere to the specified file formats and sizes for online upload. Keep both digital and physical copies organized.
