Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements:

• Staff Nurse: B.Sc. (Nursing) or PB.B.Sc. Nursing or General Nursing & Senior Midwifery training passed. Must have a valid registration as a Nurse with the Chhattisgarh Nursing Council.
• Pharmacist cum Administrative Staff: Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy from a Pharmacy Council registered institution. Must have a valid registration with the Chhattisgarh Pharmacy Council.
• Driver cum Support Staff: Minimum 8th class pass. Must possess a valid heavy vehicle driving license and have at least 1 year of experience.

As of 01.01.2026:

• Minimum Age for all posts: 18 years.
• Medical Officer: Maximum 70 years.
• Driver cum Support Staff: Maximum 35 years (40 years for local residents of Chhattisgarh with a 5-year relaxation as per GAD instructions dated 18.01.2024).
• Staff Nurse and Pharmacist cum Administrative Staff: Maximum 64 years.

Age relaxations as per the General Administration Department (GAD) instructions will apply to contractual appointments.

Salary / Pay Scale

The posts offer a consolidated monthly salary:

• Medical Officer: Rs. 40,000 (Consolidated)
• Staff Nurse: Rs. 25,000 (Consolidated)
• Pharmacist cum Administrative Staff: Rs. 18,000 (Consolidated)
• Driver cum Support Staff: Rs. 18,000 (Consolidated)

Only consolidated monthly remuneration will be provided. No other allowances or benefits are admissible.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a walk-in interview. Candidates will be required to bring all original documents and self-attested photocopies for verification. The final selection list will be published on the official website of CMHO Surajpur after approval from the selection committee.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates need to attend the walk-in interview on the specified date and time. They must bring the prescribed application format along with all required original documents and their self-attested photocopies. Registration will be done at the venue on the interview day. Latecomers will not be registered.
