Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply for the Medical Officer post:

Educational Qualification
  • The candidate must have a minimum qualification of MBBS.
  • A valid registration from the medical council is required.
  • Candidates with MD Psychiatry or Diploma in Psychiatry Medicine (DPM) will be preferred.
Age Limit
  • The maximum age limit for applicants is 65 years as on 01.01.2026.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates for the Medical Officer post will receive a consolidated pay of Rs. 72,000 per month.

The engagement is contractual, initially up to 31.03.2027, and may be renewed yearly based on performance assessment as per NACO guidelines.
