CPCL has announced vacancies for the following apprentice categories:
- Trade Apprentice (ITI Passed): Designated Trade: Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant), Optional Trade: Guest House Service Asst. (Food & Beverages for canteen & Housekeeping)
- Graduate Apprentice: Non-Eng. Degree (BA / B. Com / BSc/ BCA / BBA Degree), Secretarial Office Assistant - Oil & Gas, Executive (Human Resource) - Oil & Gas
- Graduate Apprentice (Degree in Engineering): Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronic & Communication, Instrumentation, Civil, Computer Science, Information Technology, Fire & Safety and Environment Protection & Safety disciplines.
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma in Engineering): Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronic Communication, Instrumentation discipline.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the apprenticeship:
- Must have acquired the prescribed educational qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Must have registered on the Apprenticeship portal (NAPS or NATS) with 100% profile completion.
- Only those who have passed their final exams in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026 are eligible.

Educational Qualification

- Trade Apprentice (Laboratory Assistant - Chemical Plant): Matric with regular full-time 2-year ITI course recognized by NCVT/SCVT in Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Machinist, Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Instrument Mechanic, Draughtsman (Civil), Draughtsman (Mechanical), Computer Operator and Programming Assistant. Also, Passed B.Sc., Chemistry with Physics, Mathematics or Biology.
- Trade Apprentice (Guest House Service Asst.): 10th Pass.
- Graduate Apprentice (Non-Eng. Degree): BA / B. Com / BSc/ BCA / BBA Degree.
- Graduate Apprentice (Secretarial Office Assistant - Oil & Gas): Graduate in any discipline (Non-Engineering).
- Graduate Apprentice (Executive - Human Resource - Oil & Gas): MBA (HR) / MSW / Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / Personnel Management & Industrial Relation (2 years full-time Course).
- Graduate Apprentice (Degree in Engineering): BE / B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronic & Communication, Instrumentation, Civil, Computer Science, Information Technology, Fire & Safety and Environment Protection & Safety disciplines.
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma in Engineering): Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronic Communication, Instrumentation discipline.
- Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator - Fresher Apprentice): Class 12th passed but below Graduate.
- Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator - Skilled Certificate Holders): Class 12th passed (but below graduate). Must possess a Skill Certificate of 'Domestic Data Entry Operator' for training of less than one year issued by a recognized awarding body.
No equivalent qualification other than those mentioned will be considered eligible.
Age Limit
The age limit for candidates is a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 26 years as on 01.10.2026. Relaxation in age will be given as per Presidential Directives on Reservation.
Stipend / Salary
The stipend per month for the apprentices is as follows:
- Trade Apprentice (Laboratory Assistant - Chemical Plant): Rs. 11,040/- (NAPS) / Rs. 12,300/- (NAPS)
- Trade Apprentice (Guest House Service Asst.): Rs. 8,200/- (NAPS)
- Graduate Apprentice (Non-Eng. Degree): Rs. 12,300/- (NATS)
- Graduate Apprentice (Secretarial Office Assistant - Oil & Gas): Rs. 12,300/- (NAPS)
- Graduate Apprentice (Executive - Human Resource - Oil & Gas): Rs. 12,300/- (NAPS)
- Graduate Apprentice (Degree in Engineering): Rs. 12,300/- (NATS)
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma in Engineering): Rs. 10,900/- (NATS)
- Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator - Fresher Apprentice): Rs. 4,800/- to Rs. 9,600/- (NAPS)
- Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator - Skilled Certificate Holders): Rs. 9,600/- (NAPS)
For apprentices engaged under NATS, 50% of the total stipend will be paid through Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT) by the Government.
Selection Process
Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the merit list. The merit list will be formed on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification applicable to the respective trade.
