Selection Process

The selection process for the Security Officer post involves multiple stages:

1. Physical and Personality Assessment Test: This test is qualifying in nature. Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards and pass the physical test.
2. Written Test: Candidates who qualify the physical and personality assessment test will be invited for a written test. The written test will consist of two papers:
   • Paper-I: OMR Based or Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Test (Mental Ability and Personality Assessment Test). There will be 100 questions for 100 marks. A threshold of 30% is required.
   • Paper-II: Subjective type test (Comprehension, Report Writing, Security Regulations, Fire fighting, General Awareness). The minimum threshold marks for Paper-II will be fixed by the Selection Committee, not less than 35%.

The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in Paper-II of the written test only.
