Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be retired employees from CSIR, Central Government, or Central Autonomous Bodies. They should have served as an Electrical Engineer and preferably possess expertise in Electrical and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC).

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for engagement as a consultant is 65 years. Applicants should not be more than 64 years and 6 months as of the last date for receiving applications (14 October 2026).

Remuneration

The remuneration will be as per government rules. Additional remuneration may be paid for extra hours or holidays worked.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on an interview conducted by a duly constituted screening-cum-selection committee. The decision of the competent authority will be final.
