The upper age limit for the post is 58 years as on 01 October 2026. This means applicants should be born on or after 02 October 1968.

Application Fee

An application fee of ₹ 300/- (Non-refundable, plus bank charges extra) is applicable. This fee must be paid online using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking.

Exemption: Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are exempted from paying the application fee.

Payment must be made between 16 September 2026 and 01 October 2026.

Salary / Pay Scale

The monthly consolidated pay for the first year of the contract is ₹ 36,500/-. An annual increase will be applicable in the subsequent years.

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on a Practical Test, which will be conducted out of 100 marks at CSL, Kochi.

CSL may shortlist candidates based on the eligibility criteria and uploaded certificates before allowing them to attend the selection process. Only candidates who successfully complete certificate verification will be permitted to take the Practical Test.
