Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for these Guest Faculty positions, candidates must meet the following general and specific qualifications:

General Eligibility: A Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. Candidates should also possess SLET/NET/Ph.D and/or relevant industrial or teaching experience.

Specific Qualifications:

• B.Voc in Digital Journalism and Multimedia Applications: Master's degree with minimum 55% marks in the related field with NET/Ph.D, preferably with relevant industrial/teaching experience.
• B.Voc in Tourism and Hospitality Management: Master's degree with minimum 55% marks in Management, Tourism, or any other related field with NET/Ph.D and/or industrial experience.
• Teaching English Language Subjects for B.Voc Programmes: PG in English with SLET/NET/Ph.D and preferably with teaching experience in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
• Diploma in Epigraphy and Heritage Management / PG Diploma in Archaeology and Epigraphy: M.A Tamil, M.A History in a related field with SLET/NET/, Ph.D and experience, and a Diploma Certificate.

Age Limit

Superannuated teachers can also be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty. The maximum age limit for such candidates is 70 years. For other candidates, the age limit is as per the application form, calculated as of 28.09.2026.

Salary / Remuneration

Selected candidates will be paid an honorarium based on teaching hours, with a maximum limit per month. The remuneration varies slightly for different positions:

• B.Voc in Digital Journalism and Multimedia Applications: Rs. 500 per teaching hour, maximum Rs. 25,000 Per Month.
• B.Voc in Tourism and Hospitality Management: Rs. 500 per teaching hour, maximum Rs. 25,000 Per Month.
• Teaching English Language Subjects for B.Voc Programmes: Rs. 500 per teaching hour, maximum Rs. 15,000 Per Month.
• Diploma in Epigraphy and Heritage Management / PG Diploma in Archaeology and Epigraphy: Rs. 500 per teaching hour, maximum Rs. 25,000 Per Month.

Note: The Guest Faculty will not receive benefits like allowances, pension, gratuity, or leave admissible to regular teachers.

The selection of candidates will be based on a walk-in interview. Candidates are advised to visit the University website for any updates regarding the process.
