When applying for the DGQA Technician Recruitment, preparing all necessary documents in advance is crucial for a smooth application process. Since the application is offline, you will need to attach self-attested copies of these documents with your application form. Here is a list of documents you should prepare: - Application Form: The duly filled and signed application form, which you will need to download from the official notification or website.
- Passport-size Photograph: Recent passport-size photographs, usually one affixed to the application form and a few extra for future use.
- Signature: Your signature, as required on the application form.
- Educational Certificates:
- 10th/Matriculation Certificate: For proof of Date of Birth. (Aadhaar Card will not be accepted for DOB proof).
- ITI Pass Certificate: In the relevant trade (Fitter Auto, Electrician Mate, or any trade for Labourer) or equivalent Defence Services Tradesman course certificate.
- Any other higher qualification certificates (if applicable and you wish to disclose them).
- Identity Proof: A valid government-issued identity proof such as Aadhaar Card (for identity, not DOB), PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.
- Caste/Category Certificate: If you are applying under SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or Ex-servicemen categories, you must enclose the latest copy of the relevant certificate issued by a competent authority (e.g., District Magistrate, Collector, Tehsildar). Ensure the certificate is in the prescribed format.
- Discharge Certificate/Service Book: For Ex-servicemen, relevant documents proving military service and discharge.
- Proof of Age Relaxation: If claiming age relaxation under any category, relevant supporting documents.
Remember to self-attest all photocopies of your documents before attaching them to the application form. Do not send original documents unless specifically requested. Keep a set of photocopies for your own records.
