Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements:
- Educational Qualification: MBBS degree with a post-graduate Degree/Diploma/DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized University/Institution.
- Registration: Must possess a valid registration with the Delhi Medical Council.
- Experience Limit: Candidates must not have completed 03 years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution, including both regular and ad-hoc periods.
- In case of non-availability of PG candidates: Minimum 03 years of experience in the concerned specialty may be considered. Such candidates will be appointed on an ad-hoc basis for 44 days, extendable up to 03 years or until a candidate with PG degree/diploma/DNB is available, whichever is earlier.
- Relaxation for candidates who have completed 3 years of residency: As per circular no. F121/26/2010/H&FW/ dated 10.6.2011 of Deptt of H&FW, GNCT of Delhi, candidates who have completed 3 years of senior residency may also be allowed to appear. A separate merit list will be prepared for them, and they will be appointed for 01 year only, which will not be renewable.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for candidates is as follows:
- General Category: 45 years as on the date of the interview.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and an additional 5 years for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) candidates.
