Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed M.Sc./M.Tech in one of the following subjects: Environmental Sciences, Microbiology, Chemistry, Botany, Physics, Geology, or Environmental Engineering. The minimum required marks are 55% or an equivalent CGPA from a recognized university or institute as per UGC norms. Additionally, candidates must have qualified the CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/ equivalent examination as per ANRF guidelines.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in relevant research work.

The maximum age limit for the Junior Research Fellow post is 30 years.

Age Relaxation: A relaxation of 5 years is provided for SC/ST/OBC/PH and female candidates.

Salary / Stipend

The stipend for the Junior Research Fellow position is as follows:

• First and Second years: Rs. 37,000/- per month + 10% House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Third year: Rs. 42,000/- per month + 10% House Rent Allowance (HRA)
