Recruitment Overview

The Office of the District Commissioner, Lakhimpur in Assam has announced recruitment for two posts: Co-ordinator (FRA) and MIS/FRA Associate. These positions are purely contractual for a period of 11 months. Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Master's degree in Social Science / Social Work.
• Additional Qualification: Knowledge of basic IT / Computer Application.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of domain experience in any area of Rural Development & Tribal Welfare is preferred.
• Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as on 01/01/2026.

• Educational Qualification: B.Sc. / BA in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics / Social Science from a reputed institution.
• Additional Qualification: Minimum a Diploma in Information Technology (IT) / Computer Applications.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of domain experience in the area of large-scale data processing and management.
• Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as on 01/01/2026.

Salary / Pay Scale

The remuneration for the posts is fixed and consolidated. No other allowances or benefits will be provided.

• Co-ordinator (FRA): Rs. 35,000/- per month
• MIS/Program (FRA) / Associate FRA: Rs. 25,000/- per month

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview or test. The selection will be based on the performance in this process. No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for attending the selection process.

• Candidates must be Indian Citizens.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior work experience in Government projects related to Tribal Welfare, Rural Development, MIS management, data handling, or FRA implementation.
• The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any application, modify or cancel the advertisement or recruitment process.
• Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receiving the engagement order.
• The place of posting will be the Office of the District Commissioner, Lakhimpur or any other place within the district as decided by the authority.
