District Panchayat Bemetara Recruitment 2026 Announced

The District Panchayat Bemetara in Chhattisgarh has released a recruitment notification for contractual positions under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin. Applications are invited for the posts of Assistant Grade 3 at the district level and Data Entry Operator at the block level.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and age requirements to be eligible for these positions.

For Assistant Grade 3:

• Must be a graduate from a recognized university.
• OR, must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board and possess a Diploma in Modern Office Management (MOM) from a recognized polytechnic institution in Chhattisgarh.
• Must have a one-year diploma in Computer from a recognized institution.
• Must possess a certificate of typing speed of 5000 Key Depression per hour in Hindi or English from the Chhattisgarh Shorthand, Typewriting, Computer Skill Examination Council.

For Data Entry Operator:

• Must be a graduate from a recognized university.
• OR, must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board and possess a Diploma in Modern Office Management (MOM) from a recognized polytechnic institution in Chhattisgarh.
• Must have a one-year diploma in Computer from a recognized institution.
• Must possess a certificate of typing speed of 8000 Key Depression per hour in Hindi and English from the Chhattisgarh Shorthand, Typewriting, Computer Skill Examination Council.

All educational qualifications are as per the notification from the General Administration Department, Government of Chhattisgarh.

The age limit for applicants is a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 40 years. The age will be calculated as of 01/01/2026. Age relaxations as per government rules will apply.

Application Fee

Salary / Pay Scale

The selected candidates will receive a consolidated salary as follows:

• Assistant Grade 3: Rs. 18,000/- per month (Level 4)
• Data Entry Operator: Rs. 23,350/- per month (Level 6)

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a merit list. Marks will be awarded for educational qualifications, computer diplomas, and work experience. For Assistant Grade 3 and Data Entry Operator posts, the merit will be determined as follows:

• Graduation / MOM Diploma: 20 Marks
• Higher Secondary (10+2): 20 Marks
• One-year Computer Diploma: 20 Marks
• Government Work Experience: 15 Marks (3 marks per year, maximum 15 marks)
• Computer Skill Test: 25 Marks

In case of a tie in marks, preference will be given to candidates with work experience in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, followed by candidates with higher age.

After the merit list is prepared, 15 eligible candidates per post will be called for a skill test. The final selection list will be prepared by adding the marks obtained in the skill test.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates should send their applications in the prescribed format through speed post or registered post to the office of the Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Bemetara.

Applications sent by hand, email, or any other electronic means will not be accepted. Ensure the application reaches the office by the last date and time.

Candidates applying for district and block level posts must submit separate applications for each. Similarly, separate applications are required for each post if applying for multiple positions.

Documents Required

Applicants must attach self-attested photocopies of all necessary documents with their application. This includes:

• Proof of educational qualifications
• Proof of computer diploma
• Typing speed certificate
• Experience certificates (if any)
• Domicile certificate (Chhattisgarh State)
• Identity proof
• Any other relevant documents as mentioned in the application form.

Candidates working in government or semi-government organizations must submit their application through the proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

Important Instructions

• The envelope containing the application must clearly mention the name of the post applied for and the level (District/Block). Applications without this mention will be rejected.
• Candidates with more than two children are not eligible, unless the government decides otherwise for sufficient reasons. An affidavit must be submitted in this regard.
• Candidates who have married a person with a living spouse are not eligible, unless the government grants an exemption for sufficient reasons.
• Character verification and medical fitness tests will be conducted at the time of appointment.
• Any discrepancies found in the submitted documents after appointment may lead to termination of services and legal action.
• The decision of the Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat, will be final and binding.
