Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Consultant positions, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have retired from Central Government, State Government, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, or Government R&D Organizations.
  • Possess practical knowledge and adequate experience relevant to the specific Terms of Reference (TOR) for the post applied for.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience working with DRDO.
  • Must have an unblemished service record.

Salary and Remuneration

Selection Process

The selection process involves the following stages:

  • Preliminary Scrutiny: Applications received by the closing date will be initially examined by a locally-constituted committee to verify basic eligibility criteria and TOR fulfillment.
  • Screening Committee Scrutiny: A duly-constituted Screening Committee will then scrutinize the applications to assess the suitability of candidates, considering eligibility, TOR requirements, GFR provisions, and relevant guidelines.
  • Panel Validity: The merit-wise panel recommended by the Screening Committee, including wait-listed candidates, will be valid for six (06) months.
