DTU AI Engineer Recruitment 2026 Announced

Delhi Technological University (DTU) has released a recruitment notice for the position of AI Engineer. This role is for a project titled “Development of AI-Based Solution for Analysing, Benchmarking and Quality Monitoring of the Cybersecurity Audit Reports and Performance Monitoring of Auditing Organizations", sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following essential qualifications and experience requirements:

Essential Qualification:
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Software Engineering / Cyber Security / Artificial Intelligence / Electronics & Communications / Mathematics & Computing or a closely related discipline.
  • OR
  • M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Software Engineering / Cyber Security / Artificial Intelligence / Electronics & Communications / Mathematics & Computing or a closely related discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Required Experience:
  • For PhD Candidates:
    • a. One (01) year of Post PhD experience.
    • b. Two (02) research paper publications in SCI/SCIE-indexed journals.
  • For M.E./M.Tech Candidates:
    • a. Three (03) years of relevant post-qualification experience.
    • b. Three (03) research paper publications in SCI/SCIE-indexed journals.

Note: Desirable qualifications are not mandatory but may be used for preference during shortlisting.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applicants is 40 years.

Age relaxation may be applicable as per Government of India / DTU / funding agency norms.

Salary / Pay Scale

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly emolument of ₹1,25,000/-. This amount is inclusive of all components, and no additional allowances such as HRA, TA, DA, or medical benefits will be provided.

Selection Process

The selection process involves two stages:

  1. Shortlisting: Applications will be shortlisted based on eligibility and relevant experience.
  2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview by the Selection Committee.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending interviews or selection processes.
