DTU Research Intern Recruitment 2026 Announced

Delhi Technological University (DTU) has released a recruitment notice for Research Intern positions. This is a project-based engagement under a DTU-sponsored project. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these positions.

Vacancy Details

There are two (02) vacancies available for the post of Research Intern.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications to be eligible for the Research Intern positions:

• Completed or pursuing B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mathematics and Computing, or Biomedical Engineering, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• OR Completed or pursuing M.E./M.Tech. in CSE/IT/Software Engineering/AI/Data Science/ECE/Mathematics and Computing/Biomedical Engineering, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• OR Completed MCA with a minimum of 70% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Preferred Skills: Python, AI/ML, Deep Learning, Generative AI, web/app development, databases, software hardware interaction, documentation, and an interest in healthcare informatics and applied AI research.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for candidates is 25 years. Age relaxation may be applicable as per Government of India / DTU norms.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly emolument of Rs. 15,000/- per month. No additional allowances such as HRA, TA, DA, or medical benefits will be provided.

Selection Process

The selection process will involve two stages:

1. Shortlisting: Applications will be shortlisted based on eligibility and relevant experience.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview by the Selection Committee.

Candidates will be informed about the interview schedule via email.

Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or any selection-related process.

Important Instructions

• The engagement is purely contractual and project-based, for a tenure of 12 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
• Continuation of the engagement is subject to satisfactory performance, availability of project funds, and approval of the competent authority.
• This engagement does not confer any right for regular or permanent employment at DTU.
• Candidates currently employed must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of joining.
• Any false or incorrect information found at any stage may lead to cancellation of candidature or appointment.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
