Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the positions:

The maximum age limit for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor is 67 years as of the date of the walk-in interview.

The academic qualification, teaching, and research experience must be as per the latest National Medical Commission (NMC) notifications. Candidates need to fulfill the prescribed educational qualification and experience for the specific post and specialty.

Retirees from Central/State Government/PSU holding equivalent posts are eligible. Persons working in recognized private medical institutions who meet the eligibility criteria can also apply.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration as per the following rates:

• Professor: Rs. 2,59,515/- per month
• Associate Professor: Rs. 1,72,572/- per month
• Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,48,263/- per month

This remuneration will be revised automatically according to government policies on pay and allowances. No other allowances will be paid, and private practice is not allowed.

Application Fee

The application fee is as follows:

• SC/ST/PWD, Female candidates & Ex-servicemen: NIL
• All other categories: Rs. 500/-

The fee must be paid through a demand draft drawn in favour of "ESI Savings Fund A/c No. 2" payable at New Delhi. The demand draft must be issued after the advertisement date. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the interview conducted by the Selection Board. Selected candidates will be required to join immediately.

• For EWS Category: Income and Asset certificate as per DoPT letter No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31st January, 2019.
• Caste Certificate for SC/ST, OBC & EWS candidates (as per Central Govt. Performa, not more than one year old).
• Registration Certificate issued by DMC for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor.
• For retired Army Medical Teachers: Equivalent teaching experience certificate issued by DGAFMS.
