ESIC Hospital Angul is looking to fill 12 vacancies for the post of Senior Resident across various specialties. The exact number of vacancies per specialty is not detailed in the notification, but the total is 12.
To be eligible for the Senior Resident positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational QualificationCandidates must possess an MBBS degree with a PG Degree / PG Diploma in the required discipline from a recognized university.
Age LimitThe age of the candidate should not exceed 45 years as on the date of the interview. Age relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-serviceman candidates as per DOPT rules.
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/- by Demand Draft. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of "ESIC Fund A/c No.1" and payable at SBI Kandasar, Branch. No application fee is required for female candidates and Persons with Disabilities (PWD).
Fee once paid will not be refunded. Incomplete applications or applications without the prescribed fee/documents will be rejected.
Selected candidates will receive remuneration as per the 7th CPC salary at Level-11. This includes basic pay of Rs. 67,700.00, plus other allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA), and House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per rules in force. Candidates will also be eligible for Travel Allowance (TA) plus Dearness Allowance on TA as admissible.
The approximate gross monthly salary is Rs. 1,34,390.00/- at the present rate of DA.
The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the interview conducted by the Selection Board. The selection procedure may be altered at the discretion of the authority if a large number of candidates appear for the interview.
Results will be displayed on the ESIC website. Selected candidates will need to join immediately after receiving the offer of appointment. If a candidate fails to report by the stipulated joining date, their appointment will be cancelled, and the next eligible candidate will be selected.
