ESIC Margao Recruitment 2026: Teaching Faculty Positions Announced

Note: Candidates eligible for Professor posts may apply for Associate Professor posts if Professor positions are filled or unavailable due to category reasons. They will be selected as 'Professor' but remunerated as per the Professor scale.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specified educational qualifications and experience requirements. The eligibility will be assessed as on 30.09.2026.

Educational qualifications must be strictly as per the National Medical Commission (NMC) Teaching Eligibility Qualifications (TEQ) as amended. This includes MBBS/MD/MS/DNB/PG Diploma with relevant teaching experience. Specific details are available in Sl No 2 of the advertisement.

The age limit is calculated as on 31.08.2026:

• Teaching Faculty: Not exceeding 69 Years.
• Senior Resident (Clinical Subjects): Not exceeding 44 Years.
• Senior Resident (Other than Clinical Subjects including Laboratory Science): Not exceeding 49 Years.

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST candidates: 05 Years relaxation.
• OBC candidates: 03 Years relaxation.

The maximum tenure for engagement will be up to 70 years for Teaching Faculty and 45/50 years for Senior Residents depending on the subject.

Application Fee

An application fee is applicable. Candidates willing to appear for the online interview must send their Demand Drafts by post. Failure to receive the DD may result in withholding of the result.

Fee Amount: Rs. 500/-

Note: The fee is not applicable for SC/ST/Female/ESIC (Regular Employee)/Defence Ex-servicemen & PH candidates.

Salary / Pay Scale

Remuneration will be as per the scale applicable to the post:

• Professor: Fixed Basic - ₹1,18,500/- plus other allowances.
• Associate Professor: Fixed Basic - ₹78,800/- plus other allowances.

Note: Pay will not include NPA component for those holding M.Sc-PhD qualification.

Selection Process
