Educational Qualification
  • Specialist: PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty.
  • Senior Resident: PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university (non-PG candidates need 2 years of experience in the concerned department).
  • Super Specialist (Cardiology): Post-graduate qualification in the concerned specialty along with a DM/M.Ch in the concerned super specialty, and registration with the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council.
  • Senior Resident (against GDMO): PG Degree/Diploma or MBBS Degree from a recognized university with at least 2 years of working experience in the same discipline.

Additional Requirements MCI/State Medical Council Registration (for Super Specialist). Candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency need not apply under the Senior Residency Scheme.
