ESIC Hospital Ezhukone Recruitment 2026: Walk-in for Specialist & Senior Resident Posts

Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital, Ezhukone, Kollam, Kerala has announced recruitment for Specialist (Full Time/Part Time) and Senior Resident (1 Year) positions on a contractual basis. Interested and eligible candidates can attend a walk-in interview to fill these vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specified educational qualifications and registration requirements for the posts they are applying for.

Specialist (Full Time/Part Time)
  • Educational Qualification: MBBS degree with TCMC registration and a Post Graduate Degree/DNB, or Diploma in the concerned speciality. For ICU, PG degree or PG Diploma holders in Anaesthesia/General Medicine/Pulmonology/Critical Care are required, registered with the Medical Council.
  • Experience: Three years of experience in the respective speciality for degree holders, or five years of experience for diploma holders.
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 69 years as on the date of interview. Tenure beyond 70 years is not allowed.
Senior Resident (1 Year)
  • Educational Qualification: For specialty departments, a Post Graduate Degree/DNB, or Diploma in the concerned specialty after MBBS with TCMC registration is required. For ICU, PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in Anesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Emergency Medicine/Critical Care Medicine, registered with the Medical Council, are required. All postgraduate additional qualifications must also be registered with the Medical Council.
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of interview. Relaxation for reserved candidates will be as per rules.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an application fee through Demand Draft.

  • General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 250/-
  • SC/ST Candidates: Rs. 50/-
  • Female Candidates/PWD: No application fee

The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘ESIC Fund A/c No.1' and payable at SBI Keralapuram Branch.

Salary / Pay Scale

The remuneration for the selected candidates will be as follows:

  • Full Time Specialist: Approximately Rs. 1,42,514/- per month (for PG Degree holders). An amount of Rs. 1350/- will be deducted for Senior Residents who possess only a Diploma.
  • Part Time Specialist (Entry Level): Rs. 60,000/- per month. Additional Rs. 15,000/- admissible as visiting charges in case of emergency (if willing). Rs. 800/- for additional every hour beyond 16 hours, subject to justification.

Remuneration is revisable as per ESIC Headquarters instructions from time to time.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in a walk-in interview. The eligibility for the interview will be assessed based on the submitted documents regarding educational qualifications, medical council registration, experience, and community certificates.

Documents Required

Candidates attending the walk-in interview must bring the following documents in original, along with one self-attested copy of each:

  • MBBS degree certificate
  • Degree Certificate (PG Degree/Diploma)
  • TCMC/ Kerala Dental Council/ MCI Registration Certificate (for basic and additional qualification)
  • Matriculation Certificate (for Date of Birth proof)
  • Experience Certificate
  • Caste Certificate and Non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable)
  • Demand Draft (as applicable)

SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificates must be issued by a Tahsildar or Revenue Authority not below that rank. OBC candidates must provide a Non-creamy layer certificate. EWS candidates need to submit an Income and Asset certificate as per Government of India format. PWD candidates must possess a disability certificate.

How to Apply

Interested candidates should attend the walk-in interview with all the required documents. No separate application form is mentioned for submission before the interview, but candidates need to fill out the application form provided in the notification at the time of the interview.

Important Instructions
