Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: A Post Graduate (PG) Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university.
• Experience: 3 years of experience after acquiring the PG Degree, or 5 years of experience post-diploma.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 67 years as on the date of the interview.

• Educational Qualification: A Post Graduate (PG) Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university. For non-PG candidates, 2 years of experience in the concerned department is required. For Senior Residents against GDMO, an MBBS Degree with at least 2 years of working experience in the same discipline is needed.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of the interview. Age relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per government rules.

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories will be as per Central Government rules. Candidates selected under PWD (PH) quota will be adjusted against the vacancies of their respective categories.

Salary and Emoluments

The emoluments will be paid on a "no work no pay" basis.

• Full-Time Specialist: As per Level 11 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), with a Fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 67,700/- plus other allowances.
• Part-Time Specialist: A consolidated remuneration of ₹60,000/- per month for 16 hours per week. Additional remuneration of ₹15,000/- per month for emergency visits and ₹800/- per hour for duty beyond 16 hours per week may be provided, subject to approval.
• Senior Residents: As per Level 11 of the 7th CPC, Fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 67,700/- plus other allowances.

Selection Process

Important Instructions

• The tenure for the posts is one year, extendable up to 03 years based on performance and approval.
• The contract can be terminated if regular specialists join or based on administrative requirements.
• Private practice is not permitted for Senior Residents and Full-Time Specialists.
• Selected candidates must join within 10 days of receiving the appointment letter.
• Candidates must be registered with the Medical Council of India/National Medical Commission or the Himachal Pradesh Medical Council before joining or within one month of joining.
• The waitlist will remain valid for six months from the result declaration date.
