Eligibility Criteria

Salary / Pay Scale

The pay scales for the posts are based on the 7th CPC and Punjab Government notifications:

• Sr. Nos. 1 & 2 (Registrar, Director of Research): Academic Level 14 (with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200/-) of 7th CPC plus Rs. 1000/- Special Allowance.
• Sr. Nos. 5 to 7 (Associate Professor): Academic Level 13A (with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,31,400/-) of 7th CPC.
• Sr. No. 3, 4 & 8 (Assistant Professor, Scientist): Academic Level 10 (with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 57,700/-) of 7th CPC (NPA is admissible as per University rules).

Pay scales and service conditions are subject to Punjab Government notifications and amendments.

Selection Process

The University will prepare a merit score card based on qualifications, higher qualifications, and experience. For one post, ten eligible candidates as per merit will be called for presentation (for Assistant Professor level posts only) and interview. Candidates must score at least 50% marks in the interview to be eligible for selection.

For posts at Sr. Nos. 3 to 8, selected candidates will execute a bond at the time of joining to serve the University.

Interested candidates need to download the prescribed application form from the University website (www.gadvasu.in). The application form must be completed and submitted with all required enclosures and a self-addressed envelope (9"x4").

Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application form for each post.

An advance copy of the application along with the prescribed fee must reach by the last date. The copy through proper channel must reach the office of the Registrar by 21.10.2026.
