Alternative Eligibility: A non-teaching Consultant/Specialist/Medical Officer with a PG medical degree and 10 years' experience in at least a 220-bedded government hospital is also eligible, provided they complete both basic courses within two years of appointment.

Experience: One year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject at a recognized medical institution. Tutor or Demonstrator experience with the relevant PG qualification may count as equivalent.
