Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• M.Sc. or M.Tech in Biotechnology, Dairy Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related life sciences discipline.
• Must have secured a minimum of 55% marks.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Candidates who have qualified for national-level exams like CSIR-UGC-NET, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, or GATE will be preferred.
• Prior experience in handling bacterial cultivation, identification and characterization, microbial consortia development, metagenomics, and molecular biology techniques such as LC-MS/GC-MS is desirable.
• Proficiency in scientific writing is required.

The age limit is up to 35 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

Fellowship (Salary)

The fellowship amount is as follows:

• Rs. 36,000/- per month (inclusive of HRA) for candidates who have qualified for NET/GATE or other national-level exams, as per GSBTM, DST, GoG guidelines.
• Rs. 23,213/- fixed per month for candidates who have not qualified for national-level examinations such as NET/GATE, as per GSBTM, DST, GoG guidelines.

The fellowship duration is until the end of the project, subject to satisfactory performance.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email about the interview process. The selection will be based on the interview.
