Vacancy Details

Gujarat Biotechnology University is looking to fill one position for a Research Associate I.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Research Associate I position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Doctoral Degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, or MD/MS from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification.
  • OR
  • A minimum of 3 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience after completing MSc/MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech, with at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. This is as per the DST circular dated 26th June 2023.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Prior research experience in plant protein extraction, quantification, and quality assessment.
  • Experience in proteome profiling using LC-MS and interpreting the results.
  • Previous research publications in plant protein extraction and proteome profiling.
  • Hands-on experience with LC-MS and data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in scientific writing and lab management.

Age Limit

The age limit for applicants is up to 35 years as of the closing date for receiving applications.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a fellowship of Rs. 58,000 plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) per month, as per the sanctioned letter.

Selection Process
