Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be Indian Nationals and possess the requisite educational qualification and other qualifications as prescribed under the R&P Rules, 2015 as on the date of submission of the online application.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed Graduation with three (3) years' experience as a Steno-typist or Judgment Writer or Stenographer in any government office or reputed organisation. Additionally, candidates must possess a speed of 100 W.P.M. in English Stenography and accurate transcription of dictated matter within five times the allotted dictation time. A typing speed of 50 W.P.M. in English on computers is also required, for which a separate test will be held. A maximum of 10% mistakes are allowed in transcribing dictated matter and typing test; more than 10% mistakes will lead to disqualification.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate will be reckoned as on 01 January 2026.
