Eligibility Criteria

NET, SLET or SET Exemption for Ph.D. Candidates:

Candidates who registered for an M.Phil. or Ph.D. program before 11 July 2009 may be exempted from NET, SLET, or SET if they meet specific conditions, including:

• Ph.D. degree awarded in regular mode.
• Ph.D. thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners.
• Open Ph.D. viva voce conducted.
• At least two research papers published from Ph.D. work (one in a refereed journal).
• At least two conference or seminar presentations based on Ph.D. work.

Age Relaxation:

Salary / Pay Scale

Selection Process

The selection process for HPPSC Assistant Professor Anthropology recruitment involves multiple stages:

1. Paper I – Objective Type Screening Test: This test will be conducted as a Computer Based Test or offline screening test. It carries 100 marks and has a duration of one hour. The topics include General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, General Knowledge of National and International Affairs, Hindi Language, and English Language.
