Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria differ for each post.

• Essential Qualification: B.Sc. in Agriculture / Botany / Biotechnology / Environmental Science / Microbiology / Molecular Biology.
• Desirable Qualification: Experience in soil, plant and water analysis work in lab and field experimentation and preparation of scientific / technical reports / papers.
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years as on the date of interview.

• Essential Qualification: Matriculation with +2 Vocational Agricultural related subject / Diploma in Agricultural related subject. OR Matric with two (02) years of working experience in agricultural related field work from a reputed organization.
• Desirable Qualification: Agricultural field related work / laboratory work.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 50 years as on the date of interview.

Age Relaxation: The age limits are relaxable for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.

Salary / Pay Scale

Consolidated monthly remuneration will be provided for both positions.

• Young Professional-I (YP-I): Rs. 30,000/- p.m. (consolidated)
• Field Assistant (FA): Rs. 18,000/- p.m. (consolidated)

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through a walk-in interview. This interview may include a written test if a large number of candidates appear.

Preference may be given to candidates with work experience in ICAR institutes.

Eligible and interested candidates should bring the following documents to the walk-in interview:

• One recent passport size photograph
• Original educational certificates (from matriculation onwards) along with Xerox copies
• Experience certificate of the relevant subject (as per advertisement)
• A duly filled Biodata form, which can be downloaded from the website.

The filled Biodata form along with copies of certificates should be submitted during certificate verification.

Important Instructions

• The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the scheme/project.
• The service of the appointed candidate will automatically end upon completion of the project or the period mentioned in the offer, whichever is earlier. Candidates will not have any right for absorption in ICAR-CRRI/ICAR.
• No TA and DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
• Candidates currently employed must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present employer at the time of the interview.
• Candidates will not be entertained strictly after the scheduled reporting time.
• The Director, ICAR-CRRI reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process.
