Eligibility Criteria

• For Young Professional-I (YP-I): B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture / Botany / Biotechnology / Environmental Science / Microbiology / Molecular Biology.
• For Field Operator (FO): Matriculation with +2 Vocational in Agricultural related subject OR Matriculation with Diploma in Agricultural related subject OR Matriculation with two years of working experience in agriculture related field.

• Experience in soil, plant and water analysis work in lab and field experimentation and preparation of scientific/ technical reports/papers.
• Agriculture farm machinery operation skill (Power tiller, Grass cutter, Seed driller and thresher) certificate from a recognized Institute.

• For Young Professional-I (YP-I): Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years.
• For Field Operator (FO): Minimum 18 years and maximum 50 years.

The above age limits are relaxable for SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.

Salary / Pay Scale

The remuneration for the selected candidates will be consolidated monthly payments:

• Young Professional-I (YP-I): Rs. 30,000/- per month (consolidated)
• Field Operator (FO): Rs. 18,000/- per month (consolidated)

Selection Process

Selection will be based on an interview. For the Field Operator position, a trade test may also be conducted following the interview.

In case of a large number of candidates appearing for the walk-in interview, a screening test might be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.

Preference may be given to candidates with work experience in ICAR institutes.
