Knowledge of phylogenetic analysis, biodiversity surveys, museum curation, and scientific writing with research publications will be preferred.

The age limit for candidates is as follows, calculated as on the date of the interview:

• Maximum 35 years for men.
• Maximum 40 years for women.

Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India/ICAR rules for reserved categories:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
• OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation

Salary / Pay Scale

The selected Junior Research Fellow will receive a fixed emolument of Rs. 37,000/- per month, along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per DST O.M. rules.
