- Desirable: Experience in insect collection, preservation, and taxonomic identification. Hands-on experience in insect dissection, microscopy, scientific imaging, and molecular techniques (DNA extraction, PCR, DNA barcoding, and sequence analysis). Knowledge of phylogenetic analysis, biodiversity surveys, museum curation, and scientific writing with research publications will be preferred.
Age Limit The age limit for candidates is as follows, calculated as on the date of the interview:
- Maximum 35 years for men.
- Maximum 40 years for women.
Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India/ICAR rules for reserved categories:

Salary / Pay Scale
