• Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
  • Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Master's degree in Genetics / Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding Agricultural Biotechnology).
  • Selection must be through a process described by national-level examinations like CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship) and GATE, or examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and Agencies (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MOE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.).
  • Desirable: Experience in crop genetics and breeding, field and laboratory experimentation, data analysis, documentation, and report compilation. Preference for research experience in wheat diseases, molecular biology, gene mapping, and statistical analysis.
• Field Worker:
  • Essential: Graduate Degree in any discipline.
  • Desirable: Experience in field and lab work related to agriculture.

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Maximum age is 35 years. Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC is applicable.
• Field Worker: Not specified in the official notification.
