IIT Indore is looking to fill one vacancy for the post of Research Associate (RA) in a research project within the Civil Engineering Department.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements to be considered for the Research Associate position.

Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or Equivalent degree OR having 03 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

• Prior exposure to biocementation/MICP or biogeotechnics.
• Hands-on experience with geotechnical laboratory testing.
• Familiarity with slope stability and geotechnical analysis software.
• Working knowledge of microstructural characterization and analysis techniques.
• Publication or research experience in soil stabilization, erosion mitigation, or slope stability.

The maximum age limit for candidates is 30 years.

Salary / Pay Scale

The fellowship for Research Associates will be fixed at a consolidated amount based on qualifications and experience. The pay levels are as follows:

• Research Associate-I: Rs. 58,000/- Per Month
• Research Associate-II: Rs. 61,000/- Per Month
• Research Associate-III: Rs. 67,000/- Per Month

The Institute will decide the pay level for the selected candidate.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their applications. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a walk-in interview. Selected candidates will be informed via email. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
