Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for the Project Associate-I position.

Essential Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech/M.S./MCA/M.Sc.
• Must have a GATE qualification (in CS, DA, EC, or EE) OR NET qualification (in Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, and Mathematical Sciences).

Desirable Qualification:

• Strong knowledge of embedded systems and hardware setup, configuration, testing, and debugging, particularly involving Raspberry Pi, Arduino, sensors, Ethernet, and TSN-enabled switches.
• Hands-on experience in hardware-software integration, embedded C/C++ programming, firmware development, and embedded code optimization.
• Knowledge of TSN protocols, real-time networking, network scheduling, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with algorithm design, mathematical optimization, AI/ML-based optimization techniques, and their application to TSN networks.

The maximum age limit for candidates is 35 years. Age relaxation will be provided as per the norms of the Government of India/IIT (ISM), Dhanbad.

Salary / Pay Scale

The fellowship amount will be:

• ₹37,000 per month for two years if the candidate is GATE/NET qualified.
• ₹30,000 per month for two years if the candidate is NOT GATE/NET qualified.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit and the project's requirements. Shortlisted candidates will be notified of the interview date. The interview will be conducted via video conferencing. Mere possession of the minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview.
