IIT Jammu is looking to fill the following positions:

Eligibility Criteria
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF): - Educational Qualification:
- M.E./M.Tech./MS(R) or equivalent degree in CSE/ECE/EE/Microelectronics/VLSI Design and allied subjects with 60% marks or equivalent.
- OR
- B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. in CSE/ECE/EE/Electronics/Microelectronics/VLSI Design/Embedded Systems and allied subjects with 60% marks or equivalent.
- National Eligibility Tests: Qualified in any of the following:
- CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
- Experience (Preferred): Candidates with experience in Digital VLSI Design and Test / Memory Testing / FPGA Based Implementation / HDLs and EDA tools (Cadence, Memtor Graphics, Synopsys, etc.) will be given preference.
For Senior Project Associate (SPA): - Educational Qualification:
- Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology in CSE/ECE/EE/Electronics/Microelectronics/VLSI Design/Embedded Systems and allied disciplines from a recognized University or equivalent.
- OR
- M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree in CSE/ECE/EE/Microelectronics/VLSI Design and allied disciplines.
- OR
- B.E./B.Tech. in CSE/ECE/EE/Electronics/Microelectronics/VLSI Design/Embedded Systems and allied disciplines from a recognized University or equivalent, with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Experience: Four years of experience in Research & Development in Industrial/Academic Institutions or Science & Technology Organizations and scientific activities and services.
Desirable Qualification (for SPA): Sound knowledge in the area of Design-for-Test (DfT) Architectures, Memory Test (MBIST), MBIST Algorithms (MARCH and Non-March), SoC-level DFT integration, FPGA/ASIC prototyping. Programming Skills: HDLs (VHDL, Verilog, System Verilog), HLLs(Python, c++), EDA Design automation Tool flow in EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, etc.).
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, PwD/PwBD, and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates will be admissible as per applicable Government of India guidelines.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for the Senior Project Associate (SPA) post is 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.
