Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT Jammu) has announced recruitment for the post of Research Associate (RA). This position is for a funded research project titled “Low-cost Prosthetics Design and Fabrication using Advanced Textile and Composites Technology” sanctioned by the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements:

Ph.D. in a relevant or allied discipline, with a B.E./B.Tech. degree in Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or Computer Engineering with Sensors Technology from a recognized University/Institute.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Prior experience of completing one research project is highly desirable.
• Four research publications in a peer-reviewed journal as the first author is highly desirable.

The upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/women and physically handicapped candidates.

Salary

The consolidated salary per month is ₹49,000/- plus HRA as applicable. This is as per approved project funds, and there will be no enhancement in salary.
