Vacancy Details

IIT Madras is looking to recruit for 3 positions of Project Associate-II.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and experience requirements:

Educational Qualification:

• Master's degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering.
• OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Technology, or Physics.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions, or science and technology organizations, and scientific activities and services.

Preferred Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or Electrical Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 7.0.
• Minimum 2 years of industry and hands-on experience in embedded firmware development or C programming.
• Preferred experience with prototype development cycles.
• Prior knowledge in ARM Cortex MCUs or FPGA, Embedded C, Python, MATLAB, and Verilog/VHDL.
• Preferred prior experience working in an R&D laboratory environment.

Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India. Persons who have migrated from Pakistan with the intention of permanently settling in India or subjects of Nepal are also eligible, but require an eligibility certificate from the Government of India.
