Vacancy Details

IIT Roorkee is looking to fill one position for either a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the specified research project.

Eligibility Criteria

The essential qualifications required are:

• M.Sc / M.Sc.Tech / M.Tech. degree in Geology / Geophysics / Applied Geology / Applied Geophysics / Geological Technology / Geophysical Technology / Geosciences / Applied Geosciences / Petroleum Geology / Petroleum Geophysics.
• OR M.Tech. in Civil, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical.
• OR M.C.A. in Computer Science.
• OR M.Sc. in Physics, Geophysics, Geology, Mathematics, Environmental Sciences (with Mathematics in B.Sc.).
• OR A Post graduate degree in professional courses related to Geoinformatics / Geomatics / Remote Sensing or equivalent.
• OR M.Tech in Remote Sensing / Geomatics / Geoinformatics with NET / GATE qualification.

Emoluments (Salary)

The monthly emoluments for the selected candidates will be:

• For JRF: Rs 37,000/- per month + HRA
• For SRF: Rs 42,000/- per month + HRA

Selection Process
