IOCL is hiring for 2 Research Associate positions. The vacancies are distributed as follows:

• Research Associate (1 post)
• Research Associate (1 post)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specific educational qualifications and age limits for each Research Associate post.

• Research Associate (Post 1): Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience during Ph.D. or thereafter (postdoc) in biological conversion of lignin into high value products through Microbial Fermentation or Microbial Bioprocessing.
• Research Associate (Post 2): Ph.D. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, In-organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Physical Chemistry. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience during Ph.D. or thereafter (postdoc) in Chemical catalysis of lignin to produce biofuels, biochemicals, or bioproducts.

The upper age limit for applicants is 40 years as on the last date of application (30th September 2026).

Age Relaxation:

• Up to 5 years for SC/ST/Women candidates.
• Up to 3 years for OBC candidates.
